As a follow up pilgrimmage to last months outing, we hiked up over the back of CairnGorm to Ciste Mhearaidh where we found last months patch. It had reduced in size, but not too much, and some good turns were still possible, though the surface is now much more rutted.
By our count, that now makes it 9 consecutive months of snowsports on Scottish snow, even with the summer now underway. Mild rampers can go back to your greenhouses!
