No book or website can replace real experience. Glenmore Lodge offers excellent one day, weekend, or week-long courses. These courses, which cover virtually everything you need to know, are an excellent investment in the safety of not only yourself, but your friends too. If venturing backcountry, it is highly recommended that you attend such courses.
