One of the team headed up Meall a Bhuachaille with the camera, while another two headed up the Funicular on Cairngorm for a day's sport and accidentally forgetting the other camera! Luckily though, some shots were taken looking across from the hill towards the ski area.
This was to be our last day of season 2002/03. The pictures show perfectly everything that the season represented - loads of sun but little snow cover. Both Ptarmigan Bowl T-Bars were in operation, as was the Cas T-Bar loading from above the Gunbarrel. Cover was generally very good, barely any thin patches in the Ptarmigan Bowl, but a few rocks and the odd icy patch on the Upper Cas. Snow was well pisted, but softening under the burning sun and was becoming increasingly heavy going.
