The sun was out by the afternoon with some fantastic sport on offer. With the help of huge winds, snow has been blown into the ski area so even though barely any snow has fallen - many runs are re-filling. The Ptarmigan area had a few icy patches but largely a good wide cover of groomed snow, with the Traverse offering an excellent cover too. The Cas was improved in width with some excellent sport on offer, while the Zig Zags are also now complete with the link to the M1 Poma wide. The Gunbarrel has gone from very banked and narrow to wide and level, it is mogulling with loose snow.
The M1 retains a good cover, thin in places with some rocks which require care. The White Lady offers some of the best sport on the mountain, an excellent cover of wide mogulling snow, narrowing at the bottom though. The M2 also offered some excellent sport right the way down - a complete cover of groomed snow. Over Yonder was improved, with a Pisters width of snow. The Carpark runs were open, but some rock hopping required, with Burnside breaking up in a few sections.
