The Ptarmigan Bowl offered a layer of good groomed fresh snow ontop of a firm base, with a decent Terrain Park above the Ptarmigan T-Bar. We didn't encounter any rocks on the upper Traverse, and the Traverse itself offered a wide cover of firm snow and a quick and excellent route down to the Cas. The offpiste from the Traverse to the 105 held some powdery snow, while the 105 itself offered a good wide cover and some great sport. The Cas offpiste boulderfield on the Fiacaill side of the tow offered some lovely sport much of the way down, as did the groomed Cas piste. The Zig Zags are now narrow and thin, as is the Gunbarrel. The Gunbarrel was very scraped and banked - something of a natural half pipe! The Carpark T-Bar's uptrack offering a patchy route back to Base Station.
The M2 was wide with some excellent fresh sport, Over Yonder providing the, er, "link" back to the West Wall Chairlift. This involving much heather-hopping!
