Good, dry powdery snow on the Ciste Fairway, but visibility wasn't up to much until everybody had gone home at the end of the day! Large queues were forming from mid-day onwards.
On the Ciste Fairway, no real hazards other than a few rocks at the beginning of the run from the top of the Coire na Ciste T-Bar down to the path that comes over from the Ptarmigan Station. Other than that, some very nice snow, although some rocks are showing through and there are worn areas down by the Ciste T-Bar queue.
Although only serviced by the Funicular picking up people at Mid-Station, another option was to head down the Traverse, 105 and Zig-Zags. The Upper Traverse was rocky, but passable with care; after that it was plain sailing until the hairpin on the 105 where there were a few rocks. The 105 was a little stony, but easily do-able until the turn leading back to the Cas piste, which was rocky and needs care.
The Zig Zags were fine on the top Zig, but after that it was stony, and on the lower leg only passable with exceptional care, or you'll be walking!
