Another day with blue skies and sunshine. The snow was crusty at first, before becoming spring like, and then wetter spring snow. The base remains firm though, with a good cover of snow remaining on the mountain. Most of the snow appears to be over the back though, with very little in Coire na Ciste and Coire Cas compared to what is over in Coire Raibeirt and Ciste Mhearad. For those not prepared to head that far away from the ski area, a hike up Marquis' Well is a nice way to get extra vertical and a good view from the summit.
The Ptarmigan Bowl and Ciste Fairway have a few scraped and thinner patches, but generally retain a reasonable cover of snow. The Ciste Gully down to the Ciste T-Bar is closed due to a burn re-emerging, but is complete with a good width.
The Traverse has a full cover with a good depth, as does Coire Cas (on and off-piste) down to the Gunbarrel. The section between the Traverse and 105 is still complete but becoming narrower in places. The Zig Zags now require walking, with only the top leg properly complete.
After the Cas T-Bar closed, instead of taking the Funicular down we headed along the Fiacaill Traverse, then across the mountain and down a track to reach the Fiacaill Ridge Poma uptrack near to the top. This involved a bit of hiking between the snowpatches, but the uptrack itself was complete (other than in one short place) down to a few metres from the tow loading area.
