Another great day today, with sunshine, blue skies, and excellent spring snow. Except one vital ingredient was missing.. Namely the punters. Where was everybody? There were no queues all day, and the Daylodge Poma was even forced to close as only 1 person was using it!

The cover remains excellent at all levels, though down near the carpark the Daylodge Run becomes narrow on the last bit of the lower section, and the Fiacaill Ridge Run has a few more rocks appearing, but these are easily avoidable. Otherwise, all open runs are complete and in good condition.

The West Wall Poma was off today due to a major bearing collapse, so that may take a few days to fix. As such, the East Wall, Ciste Gully, Aonach Bowl and Over Yonder were all closed, but you could go down them if you were willing to hike out again. They remain complete with a good cover of excellent spring snow. Takes about 20 minutes to hike from the foot of the West Wall Poma out to the top of Over Yonder, where you can then ski/board down the Daylodge Run to Base Station.

The White Lady was complete with spring snow, and was mogulling. The spring snow got a bit heavier in the afternoon, though, but was fine. On the bottom section, watch out for the exposed stream! Shouldn't be an issue though, as the Pisters were pushing snow into it later on in the day.

Traverse and Cas were good, but at the end of the day the snow was getting a bit heavier. The Gunbarrel is fully complete, as are the Zig Zags. The M2 is excellent, as is most of the Daylodge Run, but the final 20m or so of the Daylodge Run are breaking up, so is narrow.

The Carpark Runs too are complete, but for our final run we opted to take the Fiacaill Traverse across, then along a horizontal road (new tracks on it) below the top of the Fiacaill Ridge Poma, and meeting the Fiacaill Ridge Pomas uptrack not too far below the top, where we could then join the Ridge run. Snow was expected to be heavy, but it infact offered excellent spring snow, and wasn't at all wet. There are some heathery patches appearing lower down, and a few rocks, and so at the bottom section it's best to cross over the Poma uptrack, and join the foot of Side Slope.

The Ptarmigan Bowl terrain park has 2 flat rails, one for beginners, another for intermediates, and a flat-down rail for experts. There is also a small kicker, but other bigger natural hits further down. The Fiacaill Ridge Run offers 4 tame rollers. There are 3 more custom built rails and funboxes expected to be introduced this week sometime.
