Today I completed 'Everest' in the kilt for the White Lady Challenge - over 27 runs using the M1 Poma to achieve the equivalent vertical height of Mount Everest (counting only runs down - not mechanical uplift up!) - to raise funds in aid of both Disability Snowsports UK and the Cherished Uplift Fund. I reached my aim of 29,028ft vertical by 12:35pm, and after an extensive stop in the Ptarmigan I eventually reached 36,650ft vertical by the end of the day (33 runs using M1 Poma, 3 runs using Cas T-Bar, and 1 down the West Wall). Who ever said that Scotland couldn't rival the Alps in terms of daily vertical! Finished on the West Wall, and hiked out.
