The lifts weren't operating, but we walked up anyway. Blue skies were overhead, with a fair amount of snow residing in the snow beds and gullies. The Main Basin was surprisingly complete, from the top tow down to below the Haggis Trap. A broken tow uptrack forced closure.
The only section you may have to walk is to the side of a small burn where there is a narrow and thin, untrustworthy looking snow bridge. The cover was of spring granulated snow, best in the morning. The Haggis Trap is still very complete, and you can afford to get some air out of it as long as you don't try and come out at an angle, and are under control enough to halt quickly before you slide into some rocks or down a steep snow slope into a bubbling burn!
The Flypaper and Spring Run also still retain a good cover, the Spring Run best and the mid-section looks complete give or take the odd bit of rock-avoidance. The Flypaper too has a good mid-section. Both now involve a walk-in and a walk-out.
