Glencoe was in great shape today, with all the upper runs, Wall and Canyon in great nick and loaded with a decent amount of fresh snow laid down over a good base.
The Flypaper was closed due to "bloody high" avalanche risk. Two folk ignored the signs, skied it, and it avalanched. No harm done, fortunately, and they were able to ski away.
As an aside, the snow park construction will hopefully be set in motion in the coming weeks. Until then, there's plenty of natural hits, drops and lips all around the hill. Not to mention the Haggis Trap (shout goes out to Avy Ally for breaking his leg on his first run of the season having gunned out of this one today).
