Opening day for the Lecht, and the Buzzard side is in full winter plumage with the fences well loaded, full width, and holding a great cover of pisted fresh snow. Outwith the fences there were some unpisted freshies. Unfortunately they had problems with the tow, so the Buzzard side only opened at 2:45pm (until 4:30pm). On the main side of the hill, conditions are fairly early-season, though with a reasonable cover by the fences. The Eagle2 offered good conditions, while the Snowy Owl etc is hardpacked and slightly narrow in places, but still ok.
