Left car at Garbat layby at 8:45 and took path along Allt a' Bhealaich Mhor, then fairly direct line up An Cabar (path obscured by untracked deep fresh snow) to reach the main ridge. Lunch at cairn.
Travelled back the same way. Met many people following our tracks who were grateful for the trail. Weather brilliant - cold and clear with sunshine and no wind. Heavy snowfall over the previous few days made it hard going.
