Ski tour up Moruisg with DonaldM, but not Gavin because unfortunately his boiler packed in! I last visited this 928m roadside hill on foot in January 2006. Today it took us 1hr 50mins to cover the 780m vertical ascent from the road to the summit. Steep skin up the side of the hill - zig zagging, and in flat light. Sun came out at the summit, giving good light and sunshine for the descent. Maybe only 15mins or so to get from the summit back down to the road.
Met some walkers near the summit - when we had returned to the car, we could see they were still up by the summit ridge, slowly trudging downhill! So disappointing for them!!
