Today was billed as the last day of the season at Nevis Range, though there might be a (very) slim chance of them opening next weekend if much fresh snow falls mid-week. With a grand turnout of 20 people today, however, the prospect of that looks decidedly unlikely. The 20 people today were the lucky ones, with a small overnight fall of fresh snow making for some good turns in the Goose, East Goose, Warrens, Allt Sneachda, and into the backs as well. The top of the mountain is still clogged with snow but the lifts can't keep spinning if people aren't coming up. If it was the last day of Nevis Range's season then it was great to end it on a high - thanks to all concerned, it has been a pleasure.
