Top Station weather: Wind: W 25-30mph.Temperature: -3.0C. Some cloud. If the wind plays ball it should be a great day for snowsports. Shuttle bus running today between the Ciste car park and Funicular base station. Shuttle bus driver break between 12:55 and 13:45.
Really good skiing conditions and good wide cover now available on the traverse and the run down from the top station has fence to fence cover. The nursery slopes in Ptarmigan bowl are in excellent condition. Gunbarrel and Zig Zags have improved, last zig zag requires a short walk to mid station. Great mini shred areas on Cas down line and Ptarmigan bowl. It is not possible to ski or snowboard down to the Ciste car park and the West Wall poma will open just to take the pressure off the Ciste tow. The Shieling at the Funicular middle station is open for toilets and packed lunches. SLEDGE PARK CLOSED, due to insufficient snow. |
